1) What is financial imperialism?

2) Here now we are entering what is to many people, one of the more emotionally igniting zones of The Global FC Zone and of financial globalization.

3) To conquer. What emotions are you feeling well-up as you say this word – conquer?

Some feel their pride. Some feel their drive for survival. Some feel their need for justice. Some feel their quest for freedom. Some feel repulsed. Some feel thirsty.

4) Financial imperialism can be emotionally igniting, because for some, it involves respect – the ability to prove one's importance and strength of will.

5) According to the New World Dictionary, imperialism is defined as - the policy of extending a nation's (thing's) authority over other nations (things) by economic and political means.

Have you ever thought of yourself as an imperialist? How do you respond to the face of imperialism?

6) Since it seems most of this world is founded upon some form of finance – some system of money, banking, and commerce even in the case of barter - it presently appears that one may be able to simply control the financial network underlying a society and thereby posses the society through this avenue alone.

Analogous to arresting the body's nervous system and thereby possessing the individual.

7) An important point about financial imperialism is that it seems financial success can be not only for personal achievement, but also for changing other persons and circumstances – a magical tool for reconstructing the world to fit the vision, one might say - in this way, financial imperialism may require financial success, or at least control of financial success.

8) Who has not been finding that finance can be closely related to freedom?

9) Degrees of financial freedom to:

1. Sufficiently serve my planet

2. Sufficiently serve myself

3. Sufficiently breathe-in my peace of mind

4. Sufficiently fund what I choose

5. Sufficiently transfer power where I choose

6. Sufficiently think, act, and be – with freedom

Freedom. Financial freedom.

Financial imperialism.

10) For now, herein lies the deeper significance of financial imperialism – its relation to the cause for freedom.

11) We previously mentioned that financial success can be for personal achievement as well as for changing conditions – personal, global, and cultural conditions, for example.

12) Can you think of those people you know, who believe it is their duty to guide other people, change societal conditions, and mold the world to fit their vision?

13) Could you imagine how useful more financial success would be in realizing those ambitions?

More money. More service. More change. More freedom to choose and also be free from obligation.

14) Could you imagine the magic of infinite finance?

15) Could you imagine the imperial power of infinite finance?

16) The 38th Governor of California, the United States, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who seems to be one such individual who feels a leadership role and a responsibility to guide the globe according to his vision, and sees a usefulness of finance in achieving ambitions, has said:

“I was born to be a leader. I love the fact that millions of people look up to me...

People need somebody to watch over them...Ninety-five percent of the people in the world need to be told what to do and how to behave...”

He adds:

“Here's how it works – money comes in, favors go out – the people lose.”

17) Change, any change, and particularly change on a vast level - regardless of the ethical soundness, for our purposes – is imperialism – and combining the combustive, fiery will-to-change with sufficient financial fuel is – financial imperialism.

Why?

18) Change involves the extension of authority. It is the emotionally igniting and possibly dark connotation of imperialism that gives imperialism an appearance that is quite different from simple change.

For our purposes, change - particularly when considering the mental agility and twisting of logic that can be involved with ethics – is imperialism, naked imperialism one might say, and imperialism nonetheless.

Change may be a game of win or lose, even if a loss – being changed against one's will – is more profitable than not being changed, or a win – being changed according to one's will – is less profitable than being changed against one's will.

Imperialism – no connotations attached – is change, and this game of change, of imperialism – financially speaking – may be a financial game of win or lose, where the winner chooses and the loser loses.

19) Looking into Schwarzenegger's words as an example, financial favors may not only cause the successful to win and the majority to lose.

Why?

Perhaps because this loss may not simply be a 'loss', in common terms. It may be an exchange.

What is being exchanged?

The majority lose choice, lose influence, lose self-determination – exchanged - for what the successful will to be the majority's choice, influence, and self-determination – this is the successful's return on investment on a shiny, brand new life gained.

20) Financial imperialism involves the flow of money – fluid will - the identity trade.

21) Claiming my share - purchasing stock in a giant rock hurtling through space – securing personal property.

“Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money...and they will...buy it back again...if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money,” says Sir Josiah Stamp, appointed in 1928 as Director of the Bank of England, one of the wealthiest men in England during his time.

To a significant extent, whosoever controls the flow of finance controls the flow of identity and the flow of choice.

To the degree that identity can be won or lost, the accumulation of finance can entail the accumulation of identity and choice – other thing's life and freedom.

The ones who finance themselves, can determine their own identity, manage their own choice, build their own life, and control their own freedom.
